LPN - Surgical; PT, Nights

Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care under the supervision of person(s) licensed by a state regulatory board to prescribe medication and treatment, or under the direction of a Registered Professional Nurse (RN). Maintains professional accountability for provision of patient care for the assigned patients. Coordinates the patient care in conjunction with other departments. Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of patient information.

• Department: 5H Surgical
• Status:
  Part‑Time – 24 hours/week
• Shift: 12 Hour Nights (1900‑0730)
• May be eligible for up to a $2,000 Sign On Bonus***

• Education:
  
  Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program.
• Licensure:
  Personal responsibility for obtaining and maintaining a current LPN license within the hiring state and meeting all State Board of Nursing requirements.
• Physical Requirements/Demands:
  Ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50 lbs. on a regular basis. Ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods during each shift, and to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat as needed.
• Experience:
  
  Experience preferred but not required.
• Certifications:
  
  Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association or successful completion of course within 30 days of hire. Other unit specific certifications as required.
