OR Resource Coordinator - RN

Overview

Works in conjunction with the leader for that service. Performs the primary function of a Registered Nurse in assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating the care of their patients. Coordinates patient care in conjunction with other departments. Organizes and implements service in the assigned specialty area. Coordinates workflow in a timely efficient manner, including room set‑up and turn‑over, supplies and equipment needed prior to case start.

Functions in a staff role as needed, including relief for breaks and lunches. Assists in department operational support tasks and duties and in orientation of new coworkers and permanent team members in conjunction with the leader.

• Shift: 8 Hour Days (Mon‑Fri) (Additional Call Hours may be required)

• Up to a $20,000 Sign‑On Bonus depending on OR RN experience.
• No Contract Required.
• ASN to BSN Bridging Program to assist in obtaining your BSN (up to $16,000).
• BSN to MSN Bridging Program to assist in obtaining your MSN (up to $16,000).

• Minimum 1 year OR RN experience. Proven leadership skills preferred.
• Required
  
  Education:
  
  Nursing degree from an accredited school (BSN, Associate’s Degree, or Diploma).
• Licensure:
  Current RN license in the state of Missouri and/or compact licensure. Must meet all state board of nursing requirements.
• Certifications:
  
  Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (American Heart Association or equivalent). Additional unit‑specific certifications such as ACLS as required.
• Preferred
  
  Certifications:
  
  CNOR.
• Physical requirements:
  • Push, pull, and/or lift 50 pounds regularly.
  • Prolonged standing and walking each shift.
  • Ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties.
