Medical Surgical Unit - Travel Registered Nurse

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• 24 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience.

• Experience with Epic is required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Missouri license or compact license (required after submission).

• This role will require floating to multiple units

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >75 miles from facility to be submitted.

• No current placement allowed at Program:
Qualivis Program
-Saint Francis Medical Center.

Required Skills/

Experience:

Must have surgical experience including urology, trauma, orthopedic, general surgery, ENT, and other surgical diagnoses.

Special Requests: 75-mile radius rule. RTO is limited during the holiday. All RTO should be discussed during interview and must be included at time of submission.

Unit Details:
Adult and geriatric patient population. Neuro surgeries, Neuro PIN patients. CVA, TIA, AMS, majority of general medical diagnoses.

Shift & Scheduling:
Holiday rotation required. Every other weekend required.

Floating Requirements:
Floating as needed.

7 days maximum time off

1 reference required from within the last 2 years

1 Manager/Supervisor reference required from within the last 2 years

Proof of identification required

Certifications:

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)

• NIHSS (NIH Stroke Scale)

• BLS (Basic Life Support)
