Job Summary

Responsible for the administration of anesthesia and anesthesia-related care in (1) Pre-Anesthetic preparation and evaluation; (2) Anesthesia induction, maintenance and emergence; (3) Post Anesthesia Care; (4) Peri-Anesthetic and clinical support functions. Works collaboratively under the anesthesiologist and the overall direction of the OR Manager, Director of Surgical Services and Vice President of Patient Care Services.

• Schedule is 5, 8‑hour days per week (M‑F) or 4, 10‑hour days per week, with call rotation. Call is 1 in every 6 weekends and includes first, second, and third call during the week and on weekend. CRNAs have post‑first call day off.
• No in‑house call, must be able to get to the Medical Center in 20 minutes.
• Currently 12 anesthesiologists and 24 CRNAs in the group.
• Medically directed.
• W2 or 1099 employment options available.

Graduate of a Nurse Anesthesia Educational Program accredited by the Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthetists.

• Current licensure to practice as a CRNA in the state of Missouri.
• BLS Certification.
• ACLS Certification.
• PALS Certification.

• 7 weeks ETO/vacation for W2 option.
• $3,000 CME allowance, plus 5 days/year CME for W2 option.
