LVN/LPN Position at Southeast Behavioral Hospital
Southeast Behavioral Hospital is excited to offer a full continuum of inpatient and outpatient services to the people of Southeast Missouri. Our hospital provides a wide range of mental, emotional and behavioral health services for children, teens, adults and seniors experiencing mental health issues, such as depression, anxiety and co-occurring substance use issues. Position SummaryThe LVN/LPN performs under the direction of a Registered Nurse in providing nursing care to assigned patients, utilizing basic understanding of psychiatric and personality disorders.
QualificationsEducation:
Graduate from an accredited professional vocational school of nursing.
Experience:
Minimum one (1) year as a LPN/LVN/LPT in psychiatric nursing preferred, with six (6) months experience in behavioral health.
Licensure:
Licensed to practice vocational/practical nursing from the State Board of Nursing.
Additional Requirements:
CPR certification and successful completion of HWC including restraint and seclusion policies, within 30 days of employment and prior to assisting with restraining procedures.
