Position: Registered Nurse (RN) - Labor & Delivery (PRN)

Job Summary

Under the direction of the Charge Nurse, Patient Care Manager, Director, and Vice President of Patient Care, the Registered Nurse administers individualized age-appropriate patient care to the neonate, pediatric, adolescent, geriatric and adult patient according to the established nursing standards and Nurse Practice Act of Missouri.

Hours:

Night Shift, 12 hours/shift, weekend rotation

Education
  • Graduate of an approved professional nursing program - required
  • BSN - preferred
Certification & Licensures
  • Licensed to practice as a RN in the State of Missouri - required
  • BLS - required upon hire
  • PALS or ACLS, and NRP - required within 90 days of hire
Experience
  • Experience consistent with the Professional Advancement Program
  • Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills
  • Able to collaborate with the healthcare team
  • Pediatric experience preferred but not required
