Insurance Agent

Role Overview

We are seeking an entrepreneurial agent to launch and grow a Shelter Insurance agency in Cape Girardeau, MO. You will develop client relationships, sell Shelter products, and have the opportunity to build a team.

• Develop and prospect new client relationships in the local community.
• Sell Shelter Insurance products including auto, home, life, and business.
• Meet and exceed monthly and annual sales and commission requirements.
• Build and manage a small agency team as needed.
• Maintain accurate agency records and agency financials.

• Motivated, entrepreneurial spirit and strong communication skills.
• Sales experience or general business background is helpful but not required.
• High school diploma or GED; a bachelor’s degree is an advantage.
• Ability to meet Shelter’s sales and core business proficiency standards.
• Unencumbered background check and willingness to complete virtual training.

• Launch support with unlimited new commissions.
