We offer diesel truck repair and 24/7 roadside assistance services performed by a team of ASE Master certified truck technicians equipped with the best tools and technology. Our shop is also a NAPA Truck Service Center, handling Missouri state, DOT, and Hi-Rail inspections.

Scheffer Truck Service is looking for a truck/diesel tech. We are located in the Cape Girardeau area.
Looking for someone who:
- Has experience with new and older equipment
- Has creative thinking
- Is computer savvy
- Is goal orientated
- Has own tools
We are open Monday
- Friday 7AM-5PM.

Education
:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Secondary education in the truck/diesel repair industry. CDL license and ASE certifications a plus.
Experience
:
Reviewing applications for experienced Diesel Technicians at all levels of experience.
Skills that are Representative of the Job
:
Solid working knowledge of power tools required to perform all phases of truck/chassis repair and maintenance. Strong mechanical aptitude. At higher levels of experience, demonstrate ability to perform all phases of heavy-duty diesel equipment and services. Must be professional and safety minded at all times. Good verbal and written communication skills. Good computer knowledge and typing skills. Good customer service skills.
Ability to prioritize and multi-task. Able to work with minimal supervision and direction. Work well independently as well as part of a team.
Other
:
Must have valid driver’s license and insurable. A full complement of tools, floor creeper, and a roll around tool cabinet.
