POSITION SUMMARY

The Intake Worker/Coordinator is responsible for assisting in the process of receiving, scheduling and/or referring inquiry calls. Assists Admissions staff with coordinating assessments, initiating Intake paperwork and insurance information. Works with Receptionist to ensure smooth transition into the admission process.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education: High school diploma required. Prefer Bachelor’s Degree in a Human-related field.

Experience: Experience working in a hospital Intake department or business office preferred.

Licensure: C.N.A. highly desirable.

Additional Requirements: Successful completion of CPR, Handle with Care, and Verbal De-escalation. Certification may be obtained during new hire orientation. May be required to work overtime and flexible hours.
