Foster Care Case Manager

Responsibilities

• Provide and maintain child welfare services, counseling, and case management to birth, foster, and adoptive families
• Build positive working relationships with clients to meet their goals
• Conduct regular, consistent, face-to-face or virtual client contact
• Maintain complete client files
• Keep client records current by entering progress notes, data, and reports into the required database promptly and regularly
• Work within agency policy

• Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, Criminal Justice, or another Human Behavior Science discipline
• Licensed driver
• Access to a reliable automobile for client direct service expectations in homes and the community
• Automobile insured in accordance with state and/or organization requirements
• Passion for making a difference and supporting families through life’s challenges

Demonstrates expertise in providing child welfare services, counseling, and case management while maintaining accurate client records and fostering positive relationships with families. Proficient in utilizing databases for client documentation and committed to supporting families through various challenges.
