Driver, Medical ​/ Patient Transport, Transportation

The Missouri Veterans Home is looking for a Driver to safely transport our state’s heroes. We need a trusted individual to get our Veterans where they need to go – doctor’s office, hospital, or specialty care centers. If you want serve our heroes in a different way, apply today. • $16.99 - $18.35
• Pay based on certification

• Transport the Veteran to external medical appointments and perform Veteran transfers and care as required by the Veteran
• Assure protective oversight of Veteran while in care outside of the facility, which may include meals, repositioning, hygiene, care and safety
• Schedule transportation for medical appointments
• Drive bus/van during day and at night, in town and highways
• Provide direct Veteran care in the Home when not performing transport duties

• Current Missouri Class E driver license
• Valid Missouri certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to be obtained within 120 days of hire (all training paid for and provided by the Missouri Veterans Home while you work)
• Certified Medical Technician (CMT) preferred
