Administrative Officer: Community Training

Minimum Requirements

An appropriate 3 year National Diploma/B-Degree (equivalent or higher qualification); A minimum of 1 year relevant experience.

None.

Facilitate all administrative and general support requirements for accredited neighbourhood watches;
Facilitate administrative processes to ensure the implementation of training for accredited Neighbourhood Watches and Farm Watches;
Facilitate administrative processes to support the funding of accredited Neighbourhood Watches and Farm Watches;
Facilitate the administration process to ensure Accredited NHWs are resourced;
Provide administrative and technical support to the Online NHW Accreditation Application.

Knowledge and understanding of the following
: PFMA Section 6, Western Cape Community Safety Act of 3;
Enaging communities;
Extensive administration knowledge within a government environment.

Shortlisted candidates will be required to submit documentation for verification purposes and criminal record vetting. These candidates will be required to complete a practical assessment and attend interviews on a date and time determined by the department and may also be required to undergo competency assessments/proficiency tests. The selection process will be guided by the EE targets of the employing department.
