Practice Manager / Medical Personal Assistant (Nursing Background)

Monday to Friday, 08:00 – 17:00
We are seeking a highly organised and professional Practice Manager / Medical Personal Assistant with a nursing background to support a busy cardiology practice. This role combines medical, administrative, and personal assistant duties, and is ideal for someone with strong medical knowledge and excellent organisational skills.
Key Responsibilities- Assist the cardiologist with medical administration, including:
- Translating and summarising medical results
- Preparing motivations and submissions to medical aids
- Assisting with notes from hospital rounds
- Manage medical invoicing, preferably using GoodX
- Candidates with experience on similar systems such as Medi Switch, Medemass, Health Bridge, Elixir, or related platforms will also be considered
- Handle front desk duties, including answering calls when the receptionist is out of the office
- Attend to general administrative and secretarial tasks
- Assist with personal assistant duties as required
Nursing qualification and medical background (essential)
Experience in a medical practice environment
Medical invoicing experience (GoodX preferred)
Strong understanding of medical terminology and procedures
Excellent communication and organisational skills
Professional, discreet, and patient-focused approach
This is a combined nursing, personal assistant, and administrative role. The successful candidate must be comfortable working closely with a medical specialist and handling both clinical-related administration and PA responsibilities. This is not a purely administrative position — medical experience and a nursing background are essential.
