Position: Travel Administrator (French)

Travel Administrator (French) required in Cape Town.

This is a detail-driven support role for someone who enjoys structure, accuracy and being the backbone of a high-performing travel sales team. You will support Travel Consultants by handling the admin and coordination that turns great itineraries into seamless, confirmed journeys.

You will be working within a luxury travel environment, supporting complex, high-value bookings across Africa. Fluency in French is essential, as you will assist with French-speaking clients and partners.

Location:

Cape Town – Onsite.

Salary: R28,000 gross per month.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond to lead-warming enquiries promptly and professionally
  • Prepare clear, accurate quotes for client itineraries
  • Confirm accommodation, transfers and activities with suppliers
  • Upload, reconcile and cross-check supplier invoices against costings
  • Create and manage supplier payment tasks
  • Compile final travel documents and vouchers for clients
  • Assist with restaurant, activity and day tour bookings
  • Proactively flag itinerary gaps, risks or documentation issues
  • Assist with emergency phone duty on a rotational basis
  • Complete ongoing product knowledge training
  • Attend supplier training sessions and presentations

Requirements:

  • Matric or equivalent qualification
  • Minimum 2 years experience in a sales admin or travel support role within the tourism industry
  • Based in Cape Town and available to work onsite
  • Fluent in spoken and written French
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Confident problem solver with good judgement
  • Comfortable working under pressure and meeting deadlines
  • Professional, collaborative and relationship-focused
  • Curious, motivated and keen to keep learning
