Job Description

An established Orthopedic Surgeon is seeking a polished and professional individual to serve as the first point of contact for patients. This role is central to creating a welcoming, seamless experience for patients while ensuring the smooth running of front-office operations. Hybrid: 2 full days in office, very flexible schedule for the rest of the week.

Role Purpose

The Patient Liaison & Front Office Coordinator will manage patient interactions, appointment scheduling, and administrative support with discretion and professionalism. This position requires a mature, service-oriented individual who embodies warmth, efficiency, and excellence in patient care.

Key Responsibilities

Serve as the primary point of contact for patients, ensuring a welcoming and professional experience.

Handle patient inquiries with empathy, clarity, and discretion.

Manage appointment bookings and follow-ups.

Front Office Coordination

Oversee the reception area and ensure a professional environment.

Maintain patient records and ensure documentation is accurate and up to date.

Coordinate communication between patients, the surgeon, and other healthcare providers.

Administrative Support

Assist with scheduling, correspondence, and basic office administration.

Ensure confidentiality and compliance with medical practice standards.

Requirements

Previous experience in a front-office, patient liaison, or administrative role (medical practice experience preferred).

Strong organisational and communication skills.

Professional, mature, and polished demeanour.

Ability to work independently with flexibility in a hybrid environment.

Proficiency in scheduling systems, Microsoft Office, and digital communication tools.

Commitment to patient care and discretion in handling sensitive information.
