Position: CONVEYANCING ASSISTANT
SA - Western Cape, Cape Town - CBD (Market related, Negotiable)

Assisting the Paralegal with the administration of client files linked to Private Bonds

Minimum requirements:

Matric Qualification

Diploma | Qualification in Conveyancing would be advantageous

Good telephone manner

Basic understanding of the Conveyancing process

Relevant working experience of 2 years in similar role

Loading Security & Compliance documents onto Legal Suite for FNB, Mercantile Bank & RNB

Attending to the deliveries for all three banks, including Investec

Respond to queries linked to turn around times

Opening of client files for all these banks

Lotus Notes:
Preparing compliance packs for the banks

Check list for payments and attend to receipting

Make payments via AJS

Uploading FICA documents on E-Vault

Liaising with transferring attorneys

FICA Compliance

Delivery of deeds

Effectively diarize and administer the various procedures

Ability to work under pressure

Ability to cope with volume

Ability to prioritize / manage deadlines

Accuracy and attention to detail

Methodical and well organized / Time Management Skills

Ability to work independently
