Costing & Warranty Clerk – Franchised Motor Dealership Location: Milnerton, Cape Town
Employment Type: Permanent

Salary: R15,000 – R20,000 per month (depending on experience) + Performance Incentive (R1,000 – R10,000 per month)
A well-established multi-franchise motor dealership is looking for an experienced Costing & Warranty Clerk to join its Service Department. The successful candidate will be responsible for processing warranty claims, vehicle repair costing, and providing administrative support to ensure the efficient operation of the workshop.

Minimum Requirements:

Grade 12 (Matric).
Minimum 2 years' experience as a Costing and/or Warranty Clerk within a franchised motor dealership
Experience using Keyloop (Drive/CDK) or a similar Dealer Management System.
Strong administrative, organisational, and Microsoft Excel skills.
Excellent attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.

Key Responsibilities:

Process manufacturer warranty claims accurately and within deadlines.
Prepare and finalise job card costing before invoicing.
Verify labour times, parts pricing, and repair order accuracy.
Liaise with Service Advisors, Technicians, Parts Department, and manufacturers regarding warranty and costing queries.
Monitor outstanding and rejected warranty claims.
Maintain accurate records, assist with month-end reconciliations, and ensure all documentation is audit-ready.
Provide general administrative support to the Service Department while ensuring compliance with manufacturer and dealership standards.
