Our customer is a bespoke luxury tour operator based in Cape Town, creating transformative journeys for discerning global travellers. As part of a wider international brand, they specialise in immersive, design‑led experiences across Southern and East Africa, with a strong focus on sustainability, storytelling, and meaningful partnerships.

They are now seeking a Business Development Manager to lead their Cape Town office, driving commercial performance while ensuring exceptional client experiences.

Job Description

In this role, you will provide strategic leadership across sales, partnerships, product, and team management. You will draw on your luxury travel network to drive revenue and represent the brand internationally, ensuring growth and recognition on a global stage.

  • Achieve and exceed sales targets through proactive business development
  • Establish and nurture key trade partnerships across global markets
  • Uphold product excellence with a strong emphasis on sustainability
  • Foster collaborations that elevate and strengthen the brand’s reputation
  • Represent the brand internationally at trade shows, events, and fam trips
  • Align marketing initiatives with broader business growth objectives

Experience Required
  • Must have 5+ years in luxury travel or DMC roles
  • Strong international agent and supplier network
  • Proven track record in sales and revenue growth
  • Skilled in product development and guest experiences
  • Confident brand ambassador at events
  • Aligned with sustainability, storytelling, and creativity
