Work Type: Office Based |
Job : J107109

About our client:

Our client is a well known local and international prestigious brand. With decades of continuous improvement and market dominance, they are big enough to have the budget to reward employees (very well) yet still dynamic and able to pivot as tech needs evolve. R&D is a big part of their investment strategy, they have implemented a flat organisational structure which provides both mentoring and freedom.

Your ideas will be welcomed and supported. This is a new position within the organisation, you will have the ability to make this role your own. It is a permanent position, this client has a very low staff turnover and enjoys long term relationships with stakeholders across all levels. Employee wellness is very important to them as demonstrated by their excellent benefits which are defined as “company contributions” on top of your CTC earnings.

They are very ethical, have a diverse culture and would certainly provide an interesting and exciting work day.

What you will be doing:

  • Continuously model and maintain incentive and campaign frameworks, ensuring these structures are data-driven and aligned with broader revenue growth objectives.
  • Oversee the end-to-end accuracy of payout cycles by performing complex reconciliations between source systems, payroll, and financial records.
  • Manage calculation exceptions and disputes by investigating data discrepancies, identifying systemic root causes, and ensuring alignment between plan logic and financial processes.
  • Design and implement automated dashboards and performance reporting to provide visibility into key metrics like cost of acquisition and organizational productivity.
  • Identify anomalies such as over payment risks or plan loopholes through proactive data monitoring and provide ad-hoc analysis to support executive decision-making.
  • Contribute to annual and quarterly plan cycles through data benchmarking, "what-if" scenario modelling, and collaborative stakeholder workshops.
  • Partner with Finance and Payroll to automate calculation workflows and ensure the accurate treatment of tax, accruals, and budget forecasting.
  • Act as the custodian of program policy, maintaining a "single source of truth" for all calculation rules, version control, and audit trails to ensure full compliance.

What our client is looking for:

  • Minimum 5-6 years' experience, with proven experience managing incentive / commission scheme schedules and payment files.
  • Strong technical proficiency is mandatory, including advanced Excel and reporting skills, as well as proficiency in systems like SQL, Databricks, and payroll systems.
  • Must demonstrate strong ownership, accountability, and the ability to work independently, making decisions and taking initiative.
  • Understand the business, contribute to growth strategies and help define incentive programs that we reward high achievers
  • Excellent communication, high interpersonal skills (EQ), and structured problem-solving / analytical ability are essential.
  • Requires a proactive approach to continuous improvement (automation, simplification, documentation) and an ethical handling of sensitive remuneration data.
  • Must be adaptable, flexible, and calm under pressure, particularly during payout cycles, adhering to tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • A commitment to growth, a "winning mentality," and the ability to be agile and collaborative are highly valued.
  • Success will be measured by stakeholder satisfaction, positive sales team behaviour, timeous conclusion of sales targets, and improved performance insight / audit readiness.
