As Senior Specialist Business Development, you support the execution of adidas’ strategic business plan by supporting on key strategic initiatives as well as cross‑functional projects in Emerging Markets.
Key Responsibilities Project & Process Management- Act as a key player in driving and supporting cross‑functional initiatives
- Effectively deploy project management toolkit to ensure high quality and consistency of deliverables
- Coordinate/support collaborative global and local projects, process improvements, new tools’ implementation and best‑practice sharing that are in alignment with the strategies and priorities of the organisation
- Provide input into business proposals and presentations to key stakeholders
- Establish collaborative partnerships with key stakeholders across the business
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify industry trends, competitive landscape, channel trends and consumer preferences
- Generate insights to inform strategic thinking and innovation
- EM Business Development community
- EM South Sales, Marketing, Finance, IT and HR teams
- Key stakeholders identified for specific projects and initiatives
Skills And Abilities
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to develop and execute business development strategies to drive growth in target countries
- Analytical mindset with the ability to gather and interpret market data
- Self‑motivated, results‑oriented, and able to work independently
- Good interpersonal skills (e.g., communication, stakeholder management)
- Fluency in written and spoken English essential. Additional languages are a benefit
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration ideally with focus on Sales/Marketing/Finance
- 5 years’ experience in a cross functional strategic role, commercial functions, project management, sales or general management would be beneficial
- Leadership: experience of project lead responsibility
