Business Development Administration Coordinator –Cape Town.
Are you passionate about driving growth and supporting a high-performing business development team?
Our client, based in the CBD, has just launched an exciting new division within the electrical sector, a space that’s innovative, future-focused, and rapidly expanding.
They’re looking for a proactive, hands‑on professional to support their Business Development team by aligning internal stakeholders, optimising processes, and ensuring seamless execution.
This is a unique opportunity to be part of building and scaling a sustainable, high-growth business from the ground up.
Requirements:
- Grade 12 Certificate
- BSc in Business Administration or similar is preferred
- 2–4 years’ experience in a business development, sales support, project coordination, or administrative role with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Interest in IT, programming and software beneficial
- Very good people and communication skills
- Willingness to travel when necessary
- Customer-focused mindset with the ability to build and maintain professional relationships
- Solid organizational skills, including multitasking and time‑management.
- Experience using CRM systems and managing sales pipelines
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Coordinate end-to-end project activities for new EV charging site rollouts, ensuring timelines, documentation, and internal approvals are tracked and met
- Maintain project trackers and proactively follow up on outstanding actions to ensure smooth delivery
- Act as a key point of contact between internal teams and external stakeholders
- Assist with developing, implementing and improving the company Electric Vehicle charging infrastructure
- Assist the Business Development Manager with preparing proposals, quotations, and contracts, general administration
- Maintain and update customer databases and CRM systems
- Coordinate with other departments to efficient cross-collaboration
- Handle customer inquiries and provide after-sales support as required
- Prepare regular sales reports and performance metrics for management
- Support event coordination, customer engagement activities, and marketing collateral preparation
- Process and update orders, invoices, and related documentation accurately and timeously
- Liaise with the Finance team to ensure billing accuracy and follow up on outstanding payments when required
- Assist in coordinating and preparing for customer engagement meetings, including compiling presentations, reports, and supporting documentation
