Hire Resolve, a reputable recruitment agency, is seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Demand Planner to join our team in Cape Town. The Demand Planner will be responsible for developing accurate forecasts, managing inventory levels, and collaborating with various departments to ensure optimal supply chain efficiency.

Responsibilities:
– Develop and maintain demand forecasts for products based on historical data, market trends, and customer demand
– Monitor inventory levels and make adjustments to optimize stock levels and minimize excess or obsolete inventory
– Collaborate with sales, marketing, and operations teams to gather input and incorporate market intelligence into forecast
– Communicate forecast changes and inventory levels effectively to cross-functional teams
– Analyze and track key performance indicators related to demand planning and inventory management
– Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement solutions to enhance supply chain efficiency
– Work closely with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of products and monitor supplier performance

Requirements:
– Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
– 2+ years of experience in demand planning, inventory management, or supply chain operations
– Proficient in inventory management software and forecasting tools
– Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
– Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
– Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively
