Mid-Level Graphic Designer

Freelance Position

My client based in
Tygervalley, Cape Town
is looking for a Mid-level Graphic Designer on a
freelance
basis.

They are looking for a creative, motivated and dynamic Graphic Designer; someone with a great attitude and a true passion for creativity and visual problem-solving through innovative design and messaging.

The ideal candidate will be motivated, willing to learn and exhibit leadership potential in an entrepreneurial environment.

The client is driven by a small team of committed creatives who not only develop targeted brand strategies, striking corporate identities and beautiful publishing layouts but also use their powers to build communities through the arts.

• Graphic Design degree or similar qualification
• Minimum of 3 years
• Graphic Design experience
• Excellent knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite:
  Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and After Effects
• Web design skills will be advantageous

• Strong conceptual abilities
• Ability to interpret client briefs
• Excellent eye for design and strong attention to detail
• Self-leadership and the ability to take initiative
• Seeing projects through from brief to design completion
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced work environment
• Solid understanding of the design process and experience across the entire design lifecycle
• Excellent communication skills – verbal and written
