Junior Graphic Designer

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• With the direction of the Content Creation Manager, supporting the design and production of any and all marketing material required by the party for use across a range of platforms including digital and print, in‑line with project deadlines
• Applying the Party’s Brand and Communications Guide consistently when executing design work, and ensuring that all visual communication is clear, consistent and compelling
• Assisting other structures of the party, particularly provinces, requesting design support with images and advice on design work as required

• Diploma in Graphic Design or relevant tertiary qualification related to Graphic Design
• 2 years’ experience in a graphic design role
• Basic knowledge and exposure to print production and methods
• Basic understanding of UI/UX
• Basic knowledge of video editing
• Basic understanding of digital marketing trends
• Strong understanding of branding and brand strategy
• Experience using design software packages, including Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects, Premiere Pro, Lightroom)
• Knowledge of trends and best practice
• Computer literacy (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Zoom)
