Finance & Operations Analyst

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly management accounts, financial reports, and variance analysis.
• Manage debtors, creditors, invoicing, and cash flow activities.
• Support fund accounting processes, including reconciliations, NAV reviews, and reporting.
• Process trade allocations and perform financial and operational reconciliations.
• Assist with budgeting, month-end processes, and performance reporting.
• Liaise with third-party administrators and support the finance and investment teams.
• Maintain accurate financial records and contribute to improving operational processes and controls.

• BCom degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• 3–5 years' experience in finance, management accounting, or financial operations.
• Fund accounting experience will be advantageous.
• Experience with in asset management, financial services, or a regulated environment is preferred.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills with experience working on financial systems and large datasets.
• Exposure to Python, SQL, or similar data analysis tools will be advantageous.
• Strong analytical, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
• High attention to detail with the ability to manage recurring financial processes accurately.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work both independently and within a collaborative team.
• Reliable, adaptable, and committed to meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
