We are currently seeking a smart, ambitious, and dynamic finance professional to join our team for a 7-month temporary contract. If you have a strong passion to make a real difference in the fight against climate change, the below position may be right for you!
Key Responsibilities- Independently manage general ledger tasks for entities.
- Preparation of weekly and monthly bank balances files and cash flow forecasting.
- Perform bookkeeping, reconciliation of accounts, and verification of financial data.
- Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities to ensure timely financial reporting.
- Reconcile Intercompany accounts.
- Administer accounts receivables process.
- Collaboration in the cash collection process.
- Prepare and submit VAT and tax declarations.
- Contribute to the preparation of monthly management reports with key financial insights.
- Expense Management:
Oversee the expense claims and credit card processes, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures. - Credit Card Management:
Supervise the credit card application process for the global company, including coordination with relevant departments and stakeholders. - Support the finance team with additional responsibilities as assigned by the Finance Manager or Head of Region.
- Support the external bookkeepers and the auditors with various requests relating to the financial accounts.
- Educational Background:
Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. - Experience:
Minimum 5 years of accounting experience, preferably in an international or Swiss-based company. - Technical
Skills:
Strong knowledge of IFRS, Swiss GAAP is a plus, VAT regulations, and accounting principles. - Tools & Systems:
Proficiency in ERP systems (Abacus, D365, or similar) and advanced Excel skills. - Languages:
Fluency in English is required. - Soft Skills:
Analytical mindset, attention to detail, and ability to work independently.
