Finance Assistant

The role would require an all-rounder, dynamic and enthusiastic individual.

• Perform routine calculations to produce analysis and reports as requested.
• Create, Send, and follow up on invoices. (Creditors, Debtors, Sales Functions).
• Reconcile any discrepancies or errors identified.
• Adhere to company’s financial policies and procedures.
• Opening of clients’ accounts with third parties.
• Cashbook.
• Assisting procurement (purchase orders, sorting GRN’s).
• Reconciling of general ledger accounts.
• Timeous preparation of monthly journal.
• SARS communication, filling VAT/EMP returns.
• Payment on ERP system and directly on Bank platform.
• Cash flow forecasts together with investments.
• Cost saving imitative.
• Analysis and Projects.
• Assets (Depreciating additions and disposals).
• Plan Organize and manage own workload to ensure contribution to company’s monthly financial reporting is achieved in a timeously and accurate manner.
• Assist with Reporting.
• Foreign transactions/ Payments together with Imports/ Exports/Customs.
• Assist colleagues on daily tasks.
• Assist with yearend and preparation and procedures.
• Advanced Payment knowledge.
• Various ad hoc duties.

• Grade 12
• N4 Financial Management Certificate.
• Alternatively Diploma in Financial/Cost Accounting

• 2-3 years’ financial experience.
