Are you a commercially minded Finance professional ready to take ownership of the financial function of a growing organisation?

We are looking for an experienced Finance Manager to oversee the organisation’s financial health, provide strong financial governance and reporting, and play a key role in supporting strategic business decisions.
This is an excellent opportunity for a hands‑on finance professional who combines strong technical accounting skills with commercial insight and the ability to communicate confidently with senior management and non‑finance stakeholders.

• Budgeting & Forecasting – Prepare annual budgets, monitor performance against budget and develop longer‑term financial forecasts and projections.
• Financial Reporting – Produce accurate and timely management accounts, P&L statements, balance sheets and cash‑flow reports.
• Financial Analysis – Analyse financial performance, identify trends and provide meaningful insights to support business and strategic decision‑making.
• Cash Flow & Working Capital – Monitor liquidity, manage cash flow and oversee accounts receivable/payable and working capital.
• Compliance & Tax – Ensure compliance with applicable financial regulations, tax legislation and accounting standards, including IFRS/GAAP where applicable.
• Risk Management – Identify financial risks and implement appropriate controls and mitigation strategies.
• External Relationships – Manage relationships with auditors, banks, tax authorities and other key financial stakeholders.
• Business Partnering – Work closely with senior management and operational teams, translating financial information into practical commercial recommendations.
• Systems & Processes – Ensure effective use of financial systems and continually identify opportunities to improve financial processes and controls.

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Management or a related field.
• 5–10 years’ relevant experience in financial management, corporate accounting or financial analysis.
• Professional qualification/designation such as CA(SA), SAIPA, CPA or CFA would be advantageous.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting and financial controls.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including financial modelling.
• Experience with ERP/accounting systems such as Xero, Sage, Fresh Projects or similar.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain financial information clearly to non‑finance stakeholders and senior management.
• Highly organised, commercially aware and able to work independently.
• Experience with in the architectural/design sector would be advantageous.
