Demi Chef de Partie

Hourly Paid

Cape Town | On-site

As our Demi Chef de Partie, you will ensure our guests receive world-class service, award-winning cuisine, and memorable experiences at our conferences and events, room service, bars, restaurants, and lounge.

You will be responsible for ensuring that the culinary service standards are met, training commis chefs to meet the standards, ensuring service is run efficiently, and monitoring and maintaining the guest experience by ensuring that every one of our guests receives personalised attention and experiences every time.

With your Culinary-related Tertiary Qualification, you have 2 years’ experience in a similar role in a busy, up-market establishment. You are able to work shifts and across multiple kitchens and outlets. You are neat and professional, with outstanding communication skills. Your understanding of food preparation and storage and operating kitchen equipment will see you far in this role. You demonstrate an awareness of contemporary, international, and innovative food trends and practice Food and Hygiene safety.
