F&B Coordinator

As our vibrant, energetic, and experienced F&B Coordinator, you will be mainly responsible for managing all restaurant bookings and events, ensuring that every guest receives personalised attention every time.

Part of your role will be to delight our guests by offering trendsetting and innovative products and outstanding service experiences. You will manage the restaurant booking system for all outlets, including restaurant events. You will also conduct site inspections with potential guests for restaurant events and coordinate functions with guests, ascertaining and noting guests’ exact needs.

Along with your Matric Certificate, a relevant qualification from a recognised South African or International Educational Institution would be advantageous, as would at least 2 years’ experience in a similar role in a busy, up-market hotel. You are flexible and able to work shifts.

You are computer literate in Microsoft Windows and have experience using Opera. You have excellent communication skills, alongside outstanding knowledge of food and beverages. Your familiarity with product knowledge of hotels, competitors, and the city will prove invaluable. Strong financial management and selling skills are essential, as is the ability to work independently and use your initiative effectively.
