. Located on Quay 7, the hotel will feature 142 guestrooms

, and will operate under an international management agreement.

Role Overview

The Director of Sales & Marketing is responsible for leading the hotel’s commercial strategy during the pre‑opening phase and through the successful launch and ongoing operations of the hotel.

Reporting to the General Manager
, this role oversees sales, marketing, public relations, and e‑commerce
, with accountability for driving revenue performance, increasing market visibility, and positioning the hotel as a preferred luxury lifestyle destination. The role requires strong industry relationships, commercial creativity, and a hands‑on leadership approach.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute integrated sales, marketing, and PR strategies aligned with the EDITION brand

Drive revenue across transient, corporate, consortia, leisure, and special events segments

Lead pre‑opening commercial planning, including go‑to‑market strategy and account development

Build and maintain strong relationships with high‑profile clients, partners, and media contacts

Collaborate closely with Revenue Management, Operations, EDITION Corporate
, and the Ian Schrager Company

Ensure a seamless handover from sales to operations while maintaining exceptional guest experience

Lead, coach, and develop a high‑performing Sales & Marketing team

Candidate Profile

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Marketing, Business, or Hospitality

8–10 years’ experience in senior Sales & Marketing roles within luxury or lifestyle hotels

Strong commercial acumen with an established professional network

Experience with hotel pre‑openings or major launches is highly desirable

Confident communicator with a strategic yet hands‑on leadership style
