Position: Project Leader – Architect (Construction Industry)
Overview
Looking for a challenging and rewarding role in Cape Town? Hire Resolve is currently seeking a skilled and experienced Project Leader – Architect to join our client’s team in the Construction Industry. As a Project Leader, you will be responsible for leading and managing architectural projects from conception to completion, ensuring successful delivery and client satisfaction.
Responsibilities
Meeting deadlinesEnsuring all documentation is filed correctlyManaging consultants appointments and performancesManaging contractors appointments and performancescomplying with all processes and protocolsManagement of Contracts, including JBCC and NECReviews of invoicesReview of appointments, additional fees, and any other related mattersMaking sure Auditor General audits are successfully completedDELIVERABLES
Needs to be accurate, precise, and correct
Completed according to timelines
KEY DECISIONS THIS POSITION MAKES:
Escalate problems on projects timeouslyEnsuring the integrity of data collected, collated, and submittedoperational Decisions related to work responsibilitiesEnsuring adherence with programme and budget.Requirements:
Knowledge of CIDB, PROCSA, fee Scales, consultants appointmentsProblem solving by analysing and process information, asking probing questionsCommunicating Information by being articulateShowing resilience and remaining composed when dealing with pressureStrong processing skills by being target focused and meeting deadlinesbeing meticulous, conscientious, and thoroughFollowing procedures, protocols, and instructionsbehaving ethically and justlyfocused on outputpursuing goals by striving to achieve outstanding results, being ambitious, persists through difficulties to achieve resultsQUALIFICATIONS:
Degree in ArchitectureEXPERIENCE
REQUIRED:
Experience in the construction industry
Experience in contracts (JBCC and NEC) administration and financial administration
Experience in Project/Programme Management is a bonus
Minimum experience 5 years
