Unlock Your Potential! We’re looking for a passionate Brand Manager to join Indigo Brands in Epping, Cape Town
. In this role, you will be responsible to implement brand strategies that align to the overall business objectives.
- Reports to: Marketing Manager
- Manage Advertising and Promotion (A&P) expenditure.
- Correctly prioritise A&P spend between brands to drive sales and brand profitability.
- Management and analysis of brand spend to ensure effective Return on Investment (ROI)
- Manage overall brand financial objectives.
- Manage all brand assets across all touchpoints.
- Brief and manage all final artwork sign off across packaging and brand advertising.
- Ensure consistency of brand image, tonality and look‑and‑feel across all mediums including packaging, in‑store, print, online, digital media and Public Relations (PR)
- Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to deliver final sign off of all brand assets.
- Detailed tracking and reporting on brand and category performance.
- Monitor brand performance and corrective action.
- Drive consumer value.
- Build and enhance brand positioning.
- Create a detailed annual marketing plan that covers brand positioning, sales and promotional calendars, pricing strategy, brand spend and innovation for approval.
- Implement approved brand plan to achieve agreed brand objectives.
- Present brand plans and campaigns to cross‑functional teams and retailers.
- Align and manage brand support activity with trade marketing and sales teams.
- Recommend and develop new marketing initiatives based on market, category and consumer trends.
- Deliver commercially viable product and promotional innovation that deliver to brand and business objectives.
- Remain abreast of market and category dynamics, consumer and product trends.
- Minimum 4 years’ experience in a Brand Manager role
- Product Development experience and exposure would be advantageous
- Grade 12 / Matric
- A completed Degree or Diploma in Marketing or equivalent is required.
- Strategic thinking ability and data interpretation skills
- Understanding of new product development
- Strong presentation skills
- Negotiation Skills
- Microsoft Excel / Microsoft Power Point
- SAP working experience
- Project Management
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
