We’re looking for a hands-on, detail-driven Marketing & Trade Relations Executive who knows how to turn plans into action and relationships into measurable outcomes.
You’ll be joining a fast-growing fintech operating in a dynamic, relationship-led environment where execution, follow-through, and accountability matter just as much as creativity. This role sits close to revenue, partnerships, and brand visibility, and plays a critical part in how the business shows up in the market.
Job Description:
This role is ideal for someone who thrives on ownership, understands how marketing, partnerships, and trade engagement work end to end, and takes pride in delivering consistently high-quality execution.
You’ll be responsible for owning and executing the day-to-day marketing and trade relations activity across the business, from content and partnerships to events, PR, and collateral. Working closely with the Growth Director, sales team, and external partners, you’ll ensure campaigns, activations, and industry engagements are delivered on time, on brand, and with impact.
You’ll be part of a team that’s practical, accountable, and focused on doing the basics exceptionally well, while still moving fast in a changing environment.
Your daily adventures include:
- Owning the execution of marketing and trade relations activities across multiple channels and initiatives.
- Managing relationships with key African tourism stakeholders, including tour operators, accommodation partners, associations, and tourism boards.
- Coordinating and executing industry events, trade shows, and conferences end to end — including booth design, collateral, staffing, and logistics.
- Managing partnerships and activations, ensuring opportunities are followed through and delivered to plan.
- Overseeing social and content marketing execution, ensuring messaging resonates with the target audience and aligns with brand guidelines.
- Coordinating PR and traditional media activity, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
- Working closely with the sales team and ambassadors to support campaigns, launches, and trade engagement.
- Managing the development and delivery of marketing and sales collateral.
- Tracking activity, deadlines, and outcomes to ensure nothing slips through the cracks.
- Working within defined budgets, strategies, and brand parameters while maintaining high standards of execution.
- Taking full ownership of delivery, proactively managing priorities without the need for day-to-day supervision.
What it takes to succeed:
- Proven experience in marketing, trade relations, partnerships, or a related execution-focused role.
- Strong knowledge of the African tourism industry and its key stakeholders (essential).
- High attention to detail with excellent planning, organisation, and follow-up skills.
- Confidence managing multiple projects and commitments at the same time.
- Strong communication skills and comfort working with internal teams and external partners.
- A self-starter mindset — you take accountability for outcomes, not just activity.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, office-based environment with shifting priorities.
- Experience working closely with sales or growth teams is a strong advantage.
