Bar Food & Drink Assistant

Barista - Fixed Term seasonal contract - 1st November 2023 to 31st March 2024

Job Summary :

We are looking for acharismatic guest orientated Barista with great attention to detail, toprepare hot drinks organise coffee bar services in accordance with RCH standards.

Minimum Experience or Qualification :

· Grade 12

Certificate

· Must have atleast 2 years barrister experience in an upmarket coffee shop, bar or restaurant

· Exposure toa Point of Sales System (Micros - advantageous)

· Good commandof the English Language with solid knowledge of hospitality vocabulary

· Highly presentable

· Able to work flexible hours, weekends and holidays

Key Performance Objectives :

· To prepare hot beverages in accordance with recipes and RCH time frames whilst ensuring minimal wastage

· To maximise revenue generating opportunities,whilst enhancing the guest service experience, through upselling, in accordance with outlet service journey

· Ensuring that mise en place is done in accordance with outlet standard

· Service guests in accordance with outlet service journey and company service culture

· Handle operating equipment in accordance with company standards ensuring minimal breakages

· Ensure that all revenue is accounted for by practicing the “swipe before you serve” principle for all transactions
