Job Overview:
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Commis Pastry to join our pastry team. In this role, you will assist in preparing high-quality pastries, desserts, and baked goods, ensuring every creation meets our standards for taste, presentation, and hygiene. Fluency in German is required to communicate effectively with the team and follow instructions accurately.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the preparation and production of pastries, cakes, desserts, and baked goods
Maintain cleanliness, organization, and hygiene in the pastry kitchen
Follow recipes and instructions precisely to ensure consistency and quality
Support senior pastry chefs in daily operations and menu execution
Monitor ingredient stock and assist in inventory management
Ensure proper presentation of all desserts and pastries
Requirements:
Previous experience in a pastry or bakery environment preferred
Fluent German (spoken and written)
Knowledge of kitchen hygiene and safety standards
Strong attention to detail and precision
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
