Position: Sales Specialist – Managed Services / IT & IPTV

Role Overview

K2 Recruit is partnering with a leading managed services provider to recruit a motivated Sales Specialist to join their dynamic team in Century City. This role is ideal for a commercially driven professional who thrives on building relationships, generating new business, and growing existing accounts within the IT, networking, and IPTV sectors.

The successful candidate will play a key role in driving revenue growth by identifying new opportunities, nurturing long-term client relationships, and delivering tailored solutions that meet client requirements. This is a hands-on sales role requiring both hunting for new clients and farming existing accounts.

Key Responsibilities

Business Development & Hunting

  • Proactively identify and target new business opportunities within IT, networking, and IPTV solutions.
  • Conduct cold calls, market research, and networking to generate qualified leads.
  • Develop and deliver compelling proposals and presentations to potential clients.
  • Negotiate contracts and close deals while maintaining profitability and commercial outcomes.

Account Management & Farming

  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with existing clients.
  • Identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell additional services and solutions.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts, ensuring exceptional client satisfaction.
  • Monitor client needs and industry trends to proactively recommend new solutions.

Sales Strategy & Reporting

  • Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
  • Maintain accurate records of client interactions, opportunities, and pipeline activity in CRM systems.
  • Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and updates for management.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (technical, operations, project delivery) to ensure successful implementation of client solutions.

Customer & Market Engagement

  • Attend industry events, client meetings, and networking opportunities to expand brand presence.
  • Stay informed of market trends, competitor offerings, and emerging technologies in IT, networking, and IPTV.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to clients, providing guidance and support for technology solutions.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience in B2B sales, preferably within IT, networking, managed services, or related technical sectors.
  • Demonstrated ability to hunt for new business and grow existing accounts.
  • Strong relationship-building, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Target-driven with a history of meeting or exceeding sales goals.
  • Comfortable working independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems and MS Office suite.
