Position: Sales Representative Northern Suburbs (SSSR)

Main Job Function

The Sales Representative is responsible for driving revenue growth by actively identifying, pursuing, and closing sales opportunities. This role involves managing accounts, playing a critical part in achieving the company’s sales targets and strategic goals. The ideal candidate has strong relationship‑building skills, understanding of the sales process, and a proven track record in B2B sales.
Candidates with experience in the Sheet metal or Catering equipment supplies would be suitable for this position.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities and markets
  • Maintain and grow relationships with clients
  • Conduct client meetings, presentations, and negotiations to close sales
  • Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing and post‑sale
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activity to identify business
  • Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and performance analyses for senior
  • Collaborate with head office team and on‑site installations teams to ensure client
  • Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking
Requirements:
  • Proven experience (3+ years) in a sales
  • Strong understanding of sales principles, strategies, and techniques
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Tertiary studies in business, marketing or related field (preferred)
  • Preferably bilingual English and Afrikaans
  • Reliable own car
  • Valid driver’s license
  • They may be away from home from time to time
  • Microsoft computer literate
  • No criminal record or history of alcohol or drug abuse
  • Be able to handle pressure and teamwork
  • Be prepared to work late on occasions
  • Cold calls to be discussed at interview
  • A sense of humor
