Trauma Sales Representative

Hire Resolves client is looking for a Sales Representative who be primarily responsible for preparing for all aspects of the sales accountability representing the Companyas a leader in the industry and the marketplace by promoting the products to the target market comprised of surgeons and healthcare professionals. This will be achieved by meeting sales targets and increasing sales through assisting existing customers and building new accounts as well as identify new customers in order to grow their territory.

• Identifies target surgeons, plans and implements appropriate strategy for the territory to achieve sales targets.
• Works in conjunction with sales teams (both regional and national).
• Callback customers as required to identify sales opportunities and customer service activities.
• Identifies the needs of new prospects and develop the appropriate responses to queries.
• Assists in theatre as and when required by healthcare professionals.
• Assists in developing responses to requests for Quotes and in creating proposal presentations.
• Schedules appointments to present company product offerings & performs field calls for the account and assigned territory.
• Implements new sales plans and effective marketing strategies to position the organization competitively.
• Meets and exceeds business sales targets (quotas).
• Provides forecasts and market research information to divisional management as and when required.
• Acquires a basic understanding of the field to include regulatory compliance issues.
• Assists in the resolution of any problems that arise on the account.
• Remains current and up to date on industry, customer, and competitive trends.

• BSc/BA qualification in relevant field preferred or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in the Trauma/Orthopaedic or Medical/Biokinetics/Pharmaceuticals and other relevant experience will be considered.
• Proven Sales record.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Experience in building and maintaining relationships (with ortho surgeons & hospitals in respective areas would be advantageous.
• Must be comfortable in emergency/operating room environments.
• Valid drivers’ license and own reliable transportation is essential.
• Willingness to work ‘on call’ hours during weekends, public holidays and outside normal working hours.
