Key Responsibilities

• Rigging and Cable / Pulley Maintenance

• Conduct work as per job card received from foreman

• Select gear such as cables, pulleys, and winches, according to load weights and sizes, facilities, and work schedules

• Adhere to heavy equipment lifting, positioning and movement standards and specifications.

• All maintenance on cable and / or pulley operated equipment to be inspected and checked for quality purposes.

• Safe, correct and effective application of equipment and machinery utilised during duties.

• Adherence to maintenance schedules.

• Attending to mechanical breakdowns (cables and pulleys).

• Escalation of unresolved breakdowns or unsuccessful maintenance, installation and constructions. Ensure adherence to all company policies and procedures.

• Completion of relevant documentation.
