Job Summary:

As a Diesel Mechanic, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing our fleet of diesel-powered vehicles. You will work closely with our team of drivers and mechanics to ensure that our vehicles are in top working condition and able to meet our clients' transportation needs. This is a full-time, permanent position with opportunities for growth and advancement within the company.

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform routine maintenance on diesel-powered vehicles, including oil changes, filter replacements, and tire rotations - Diagnose and repair mechanical issues with diesel engines, transmissions, and other components - Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify any potential problems or safety hazards - Keep accurate records of all maintenance and repairs performed on each vehicle - Communicate effectively with drivers and other team members to address any issues or concerns with the vehicles - Stay updated on industry developments and advancements in diesel engine technology - Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while working on vehicles - Assist with training and mentoring junior mechanics as needed

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent - Minimum of 3 years of experience working as a diesel mechanic - Strong knowledge of diesel engines and their components

- Experience with diagnostic tools and equipment - Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics - Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills - Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently under pressure - Valid driver's license and clean driving record - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Willingness to work flexible hours and occasional weekends as needed We
