Your Role

In this role, you will help program and test fire detection panels to protect buildings and lives. You will turn system plans into working security settings on client sites. Job Description

• Program addressable fire detection control panels and system controllers.
• Configure software settings for gas suppression and emergency safety systems.
• Test and commission systems on-site to make sure they work correctly.
• Upload and save site-specific programming files safely.
• Solve technical software bugs and device connection issues.
• Connect fire panels with building networks and security platforms.
• Work directly with site teams and clients during final system testing.
• Keep clean programming records for each completed job.

What You Need to Apply

• Grade 12 (Matric) certificate.
• SAQCC Fire Detection Commissioner qualification (Level 4 preferred).
• At least 3 years of hands-on experience programming addressable fire panels.
• A valid South African driver's license.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and a willingness to learn.
