Our client is actively seeking a dedicated Appliance Repair Specialist to join their expanding team serving the Cape Town region. This position is essential for maintaining the functionality and longevity of a wide array of household appliances for our valued customers. You will be responsible for diagnosing and resolving issues with various domestic appliances, ensuring efficient and effective repairs. This role offers the chance to be an independent problem-solver in the field, contributing directly to customer satisfaction and the operational success of our client, all while working within a supportive team structure.
Key Responsibilities- Diagnose and repair a variety of common household appliances, including refrigerators, washing machines, ovens, and dishwashers.
- Perform routine preventative maintenance on appliances to extend their lifespan and prevent future issues.
- Communicate clearly with customers regarding repair findings, cost estimates, and recommended solutions.
- Order and manage necessary parts and supplies for repairs, ensuring efficient inventory control.
- Adhere strictly to safety protocols and best practices during all service calls in the Western Cape.
- Maintain detailed service reports, documenting all work performed and parts utilized.
- Proven experience in diagnosing and repairing various types of household appliances.
- Strong technical aptitude and familiarity with electrical and plumbing systems related to appliances.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Good communication skills for interacting with customers and team members.
- A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are essential for on-site service.
- Willingness to undergo background checks and adhere to company policies.
