About the Role

Our client is seeking a qualified HVAC Technician to join their operations team in Cape Town, Western Cape . This role is essential for ensuring the optimal functioning of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems across various commercial and residential properties. You will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC units, providing reliable climate control solutions. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented professional with a strong understanding of HVAC principles and a commitment to delivering high-quality service in a timely manner.

• Install, maintain, and repair a variety of HVAC systems, including split units, central air conditioners, and ventilation systems.
• Diagnose complex issues with HVAC equipment, using appropriate testing instruments and diagnostic tools.
• Perform routine preventative maintenance to ensure systems operate efficiently and reliably.
• Respond to emergency service calls and address urgent HVAC problems efficiently.
• Ensure all work complies with industry standards, safety regulations, and environmental guidelines.
• Maintain accurate records of services performed, parts used, and time spent on each job.

• Proven experience as an HVAC Technician with a strong track record.
• Certification in HVAC or a related trade is required.
• In-depth knowledge of HVAC systems, refrigeration cycles, and electrical components.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively to meet service deadlines in Cape Town .
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• A valid driver's license and willingness to travel within the Western Cape region.
