About the Role
Our client is seeking a skilled HVAC Installation and Repair Specialist to join their essential service team in Cape Town . This role is pivotal in ensuring the optimal functioning of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems for our diverse clientele across the Western Cape. You will be responsible for the full lifecycle of HVAC services, from initial installation of new units to diagnosing and resolving complex repair issues.

- Install new HVAC systems, including ductwork, refrigeration lines, and control panels, ensuring compliance with design specifications.
- Conduct thorough diagnostics on malfunctioning HVAC equipment, identifying the root cause of issues using specialized tools.
- Perform effective repairs on a wide range of HVAC components, including compressors, motors, fans, and thermostats.
- Carry out preventative maintenance schedules to ensure longevity and efficiency of HVAC systems.
- Provide clients with detailed explanations of work performed, recommended solutions, and preventative care tips.
- Maintain accurate records of service calls, parts used, and time spent on each job.
- Demonstrable experience in HVAC installation and repair .
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting HVAC technical manuals and schematics.
- Certification or trade qualification in refrigeration and air conditioning is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of various HVAC system types and refrigerants.
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills with a focus on practical solutions.
- Excellent customer service skills and a professional demeanor on site.
