About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced Equipment Installation Specialist to join their growing operations team based in Cape Town . This role involves the precise installation and initial setup of sophisticated equipment at client premises, ensuring seamless integration into their existing infrastructure. You will play a vital part in the customer's journey from delivery to full operational capacity, requiring meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to quality.

• Perform professional installation and setup of various types of equipment at diverse customer sites in and around Cape Town .
• Conduct thorough system checks and initial testing post-installation to verify functionality and performance against specifications.
• Collaborate with sales and logistics teams to ensure timely and efficient delivery and installation scheduling.
• Provide basic operational training and guidance to end-users on the proper functioning and care of the installed equipment.
• Document all installation activities, including site conditions, work performed, and any encountered challenges or resolutions.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment at all times, both in the field and during any workshop-based preparation.

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in equipment installation, technical setup, or a related field.
• Demonstrated ability to work with a variety of tools and precision equipment; familiarity with electrical and mechanical systems is essential.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings, installation manuals, and diagnostic reports.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple installation projects simultaneously.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills, with a professional demeanor.
• Must possess a valid driver's license and be prepared for local travel within the Western Cape .
