A well-established engineering and manufacturing business is seeking an experienced Maintenance & Servicing Technician to join its technical team in Cape Town. The successful candidate will be responsible for the maintenance, servicing, fault-finding, repair and installation of industrial ventilation, fan, HVAC and related engineering systems. This position requires a technically competent and hands-on individual with a strong mechanical background. Candidates must hold a relevant trade or Millwright qualification, or have substantial practical experience within a similar mechanical, electrical, HVAC, ventilation or industrial servicing environment.

• Perform routine maintenance and servicing of industrial equipment and systems.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults.
• Complete repairs efficiently, accurately and safely.
• Install and maintain electrical systems used in HVAC and engineering applications.
• Service and maintain industrial fans, ventilation equipment and related systems.
• Work closely with engineers and technicians to ensure correct system integration.
• Attend customer sites to assess, service and repair equipment.
• Communicate clearly with customers regarding faults, repairs and service resolutions.
• Complete assigned work within agreed deadlines.
• Maintain tools, equipment and a clean working environment.
• Follow all health, safety and company procedures.
• Assist with workshop and site-based technical work.
• Travel to customer sites when required.
• Trade-tested Electrician or Red Seal qualification will be advantageous.
• Practical experience in a maintenance, servicing or field technician role.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on repair experience.
• Ability to diagnose mechanical and basic electrical faults.
• Experience with in industrial engineering, HVAC, ventilation, fans or related applications will be advantageous.
• Refrigeration experience or knowledge will be beneficial.
• Valid driver's licence.
• Willingness to travel and work at customer sites.
• Physically fit and able to perform workshop and site-based duties.
