MAIN PURPOSE OF JOBTo provide electrical services and perform maintenance, repairs, and replacements on all relevant systems, infrastructure, and equipment in the locality.
KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS- Perform technical jobs within the locality
- Perform administration duties within the technical function
- Identify and mitigate technical risks within the locality
- Coordinate work performed by on-site contractors within the locality
- Maintain client and stakeholder relations within the technical function
NQF level 4 Electrical qualification with compulsory subjects:
Mathematics, Science or Industrial Electronics, Electro-technology or equivalent and Trade test certification:
Electrical (3-phase) with Wireman's licence (Installation Electrician 3-phase) or equivalent Namibian registration (when applicable)

REQUIRED JOB SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE- Maintenance and repair of electrical systems
- Test equipment and devices
- Heating and air conditioning systems
- Fault finding and troubleshooting
- Electrical regulations and guides
- Alarm Panels, IT Networks & Communication Systems
- Occupational Safety, Health, and Environment (e.g. OHS and ISO)
- Knowledge of Planned Maintenance Systems
- Mentoring of technical team members
