Field Service Technician – Office Automation - CT - RK

To install, maintain and service a range of electronic and electro-mechanical equipment. The successful candidate will represent the company professionally, maintaining strong customer relationships and upholding company standards. The role requires a self-motivated individual who can work effectively within a team environment to ensure rapid problem resolution and excellent customer service.

Service and maintain equipment according to manufacturer specifications. Diagnose and repair equipment faults effectively and efficiently. Install equipment and provide operator training. Provide on-site support throughout the Northern provinces of South Africa and neighbouring countries as required. Assist colleagues and other departments with technical and development-related issues. Support the sales team with equipment demonstrations when required. Resolve customer queries and technical problems promptly.

Build and maintain strong client relationships to support business growth. Assist customers in maximizing the value and performance of their equipment. Provide ongoing telephonic, email, and remote support to customers. Travel locally and internationally as required. Provide after-hours standby support and on-site assistance when necessary. Maintain a professional appearance and uphold company integrity. Complete administrative tasks in line with company policies and procedures.

Perform additional duties reasonably related to the role.

Minimum 2 years'' experience in basic Electrical and/or Mechanical environments.

Ability to build effective working relationships with colleagues and customers. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Ability to work under pressure and prioritise tasks effectively. Willingness to work overtime when required. Hands-on approach to equipment maintenance and repair. Dedicated, dependable and self-motivated.

Own reliable transport. Valid Code 08 driver''s licence. Grade 12 or equivalent qualification. Computer literate. Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
