Industrial Equipment Installer

Our client is seeking a skilled Industrial Equipment Installer to join their team based in Cape Town. This role involves the precise installation, setup, and commissioning of heavy machinery and industrial systems for a variety of manufacturing and production facilities. You will work closely with engineering teams and clients to ensure seamless integration of new equipment, adhering to strict safety protocols and project timelines.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, possesses strong mechanical aptitude, and thrives in a dynamic, hands‑on environment. This position requires a balance of on-site work and potential remote coordination for project planning and follow-up.

• Install, assemble, and connect industrial machinery and equipment according to blueprints and technical specifications.
• Perform testing and calibration of newly installed equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance.
• Troubleshoot and repair installation-related issues, working collaboratively with manufacturers and clients to find effective solutions.
• Read and interpret complex technical drawings, schematics, and installation manuals.
• Ensure all installations adhere to company standards, safety regulations, and local building codes in Cape Town.
• Provide basic training to client personnel on the operation and maintenance of installed equipment.

• Proven experience in industrial equipment installation, mechanical assembly, or a related trade.
• Strong understanding of mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and basic electrical wiring.
• Ability to read and interpret technical blueprints and diagrams accurately.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a methodical approach to diagnostics and repair.
• Physical stamina and ability to work in various industrial environments, including confined spaces and at heights when necessary.
